The National Group CampThe National Group Camp is for Nationally/Provincially ranked juniors looking to train the fundamentals in a systematic developmental training environment. The weekly curriculum includes technical, tactical physical and psychological training in order to help develop the complete player. Players in this group have a UTR of 7+. This camp will run on outdoor clay courts. The Provincial Group CampThe Provincial Group Camp is for Nationally/Provincially ranked juniors looking to train the fundamentals in a systematic developmental training environment. The weekly curriculum includes technical, tactical physical and psychological training in order to help develop the complete player. Players in this group have a UTR of 6 or below. This camp will run on outdoor clay courts. (8 spots per week) Summer Camp weeks: Summer Camp weeks: 1) July 2-5 (*Holiday week, no camp Monday) 2) July 8-12 3) July 15-19 4) July 22-26 5) July 29-August 2 6) August 6-9 (*Holiday week, no camp Monday) 7) August 12-16 8) August 19-23 9) August 26-30 Option #1 (Full Day Camp) Full Day Daily Schedule: 8:45-8:55am Arrival 9:00-9:30am Warm up and coordination/dexterity exercises. 9:30-11:30am On Court Tennis - Extended warm up and work on fundamentals. Tactical drilling and competitive situations in all phases of game play. 11:30-12:30pm Lunch 12:30-2:30pm On-Court Tennis - Competitive Drills and Match-play 2:30-3:30pm Fitness/Multisport and Cool-down 3:30pm Pick-up Option #2 (Half Day Morning Camp) Half Day Morning Camp Daily Schedule: 8:45-8:55am Arrival 9:00-9:30am Warm up and coordination/dexterity exercises. 9:30-11:30am On Court Tennis - Extended warm up and work on fundamentals. Increasing Steadiness by having great footwork, set up and timing. 2. Using the whole body on every stroke through very demanding drills and especially with the desire of succeeding each stroke. 3. Playing "SOLID" tactics. 4. Being GREAT competitors and this will be reflected through the way we train. To intensively trains the fundamentals.
